There is no better way to celebrate a milestone than a peaceful escape to the heart of Louisiana’s oldest settlement. We recently had the pleasure of hosting Scott Laird and his partner for a birthday getaway that perfectly captured the spirit of the Judge Porter House.

They stayed in our beloved Garden Room, a space designed for romance with its massive antique four-poster bed and serene views of our blooming gardens. To make the birthday celebration truly shine, we kicked off the festivities with hand-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries on their first day, followed by a custom-ordered birthday cake on day two!
