Breakfast at Judge Porter House

Breakfast at Judge Porter House is a relaxed two-course experience served each morning in our elegant historic dining room. Our innkeeper prepares a fresh, rotating menu thoughtfully planned to balance sweet and savory flavors.

Breakfast is served promptly at 8:30 a.m. Couples generally enjoy their own table for two, while tables can be arranged together for family members or friends traveling together.

A Two-Course Breakfast, Thoughtfully Paired

Each breakfast begins with a first course selected to complement the entrée that follows. When the second course is savory—such as an omelet, Eggs Benedict, quiche, or another egg dish—we often begin with something on the sweeter side.

When pancakes, Apple Spiced Belgian waffles, or French toast are planned, we begin with fresh fruit or our colorful Fruit Sundae made with Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and a drizzle of honey.

A Different Breakfast Each Morning

Our innkeeper selects both courses each morning from a collection of longtime guest favorites. Guests staying multiple nights will not receive the same first or second course twice, allowing each morning to bring something different to the table.

Selections may include Louisiana bread pudding, baked apple dumplings, fresh fruit, Eggs Benedict, our rolled omelet, baked eggs in ham crisps, Apple Spice Belgian waffles, pancakes, or French toast.

Dietary Requests

With at least 72 hours’ notice, we will do everything reasonably possible to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please provide complete details before arrival so your innkeeper has time to plan and purchase appropriate ingredients.

We are happy to consider requests for dietary accommodations, although particular menu items cannot be guaranteed.

Breakfast Is Part of Your Stay
