Explore Judge Porter House's Common Areas
Experience the epitome of southern hospitality at Judge Porter House. With elegantly designed rooms and thoughtful amenities, your stay promises comfort and sophistication. Relax in our welcoming parlors and discover why Judge Porter House is the ideal destination for luxury and southern charm
Upon entering Judge Porter House, your eyes will be drawn to one of two beautiful French-cut crystal chandeliers. Take a moment to sign the guest book on the petticoat table or relax in one of the rosewood upholstered chairs.
Beside the entrance hall is the downstairs parlor, home to the second French-cut crystal chandelier. Relax by the fireplace in a Sleepy Hollow chair or browse a current magazine from the Empire-style sofa.
The dining room is another inviting downstairs common area, where guests gather each morning for our two-course breakfast. Tables may be arranged separately or combined for family members and friends traveling together.
The upstairs parlor is furnished for comfort and conversation. Its Queen Anne–style camelback sofas make it especially welcoming for families and friends traveling together. Located near the New Orleans and Princess guest rooms, the parlor offers books and games and opens onto the second-story wraparound gallery, which is available to all guests.
